Drive magnetic pulley – HMB

Simple and reliable solution for separation of magnetic particles from bulk materials. The drive magnetic pulleys are designed for continual separation of foreign magnetic particles from dry bulk materials of small grain size. These drums are designed for applications where is a risk of damage or undesirable influence of consequent technological processes by present of magnetic particles in basic bulk material, or where the separation of magnetic or non-magnetic particles is directly part of technology. This solution is suitable for operations like recycling plants, foundry plants, ceramics factories, power plants, glass works and others.

The separator works on principle of magnetic field attraction created by system of high intensity ORMAKON permanent magnets enclosed inside of rotating drum shell. |

Advantages
|
ORMAKON system ORMAKON magnets have non-homogeneous magnetic orientation, which concentrates magnetic flow and significantly increases maximal values of magnetic induction in the area of functional pole. By this process we can achieve higher efficiency than with currently used anisotropic magnets, which are homogeneously oriented. |

The bulk material flowing over drum shell is exposed to magnetic field and magnetic particles are attracted by this magnetic field to the shell. The particles are released when the belt turns over the drum and the attracted particles are taken by belt out of magnet’s magnetic field. The magnetic drive pulley is installed in the same way as regular drive pulley of belt conveyor as long as the drive pulley is also discharging and there is no need for special design and technological changes.

The data shown in the table are for standardized product line. On request we can supply the separators in other dimensions and with modified shaft ends for mounting. The shaft mounting for drum installation or for drive mechanism is designed individually according to the actual (in case of replacement of normal drive pulley), or requested drive unit of respective performance and technical parameters. |
