Belt feeders are most commonly used for emptying silos, hoppers and trays. The feeders allow unidirectional and reversible uniform, controlled feed and dosing of bulk materials. The feeders can be equipped with belt weights or weighing strain gauges.

The track feeder structure consists of a support frame, a hopper, a drive unit, a drive and return drum, rollers or sliding plates that support the conveyor belt. If necessary, the feeder can be secured along the entire length of the belt with a side seal against dust leakage.
