Vibrating feeders are suitable for loading and unloading of silos and containers, they are used for the horizontal transport of bulk materials; for sorting, separating, dispensing and continuous feeding of bulk materials to crushers, screeners etc. They are not suitable for the transport of adhesive, damp and fine dust materials that tend to stick. Feeders are continuously adjustable throughout the working range. In small dimensions they are ideal for precise dosing of smaller quantities of material, eg small dose packing, dosing of ingredients, laboratory use, spreading of material etc.

The structure of the vibrating feeder consists of a bucket and a vibration source. Vibratory motors or electromagnetic drives are the source of vibrations.
