Permanent Magnetic Separation Ramp
Permanently magnetic separation ramps are used to eliminate unwanted metal particles from bulk products conveyed by belt conveyor, vibratory feeders, etc.
These separation ramps are mainly used to protect machines such as crushers, feeders, etc. They are most commonly used for cleaning products / separating metal particles in the food and chemical industry, in foundries, coal mines, cement plants, and in the recycling of municipal waste.
The quality of the separation also depends on the belt speed, product type, grain size, type and form of the extracted parts. Magnetic separation ramps are designed to work at a height of 150, 200, 250 and 300 mm above the conveyor belt. By default, two ramp sizes are available with a suitably sized magnet size. The size of the separation ramp and their magnets is designed depending on its application in operation.

ORMAKON magnets have a non-homogeneous magnetic orientation that concentrates the magnetic flux and significantly increases the maximum magnetic field induction values in the functional pole. In this way, higher efficiency can be achieved than with homogeneously oriented anisotropic magnets.
Permanently magnetic separation ramps PMSR can be placed parallel or across the belt conveyor. Example of installation above the end drum (Figure A). Installation across the conveyor (Figure B). In both cases it is necessary to ensure the non-magnetic properties of all elements under the separator to avoid magnetic field interference.
