Conveyor Pulley Lagging
The rubber lagging of the pulleys (drums) improves the transmission of the tensile force between the belt and the driving drum, thus eliminating the problems associated with slipping the conveyor belt. The lagging contributes to the self-cleaning ability of the drum. When using the lagging, the conveyor belt tensile force can be reduced. The drum lagging also helps in hot or cold weather and allows you to drain water, ice and dirt from the surface of the drum, reducing the risk of slippage.
The rubber lagging can be supplied with a smooth surface or diamond pattern, depending on the type of application.
Typical types of rubber lagging: • Rubber - black, smooth, thickness - 3mm, 5mm, 8mm and 10mm (A) • Rubber - black, diamond pattern, thickness 8mm to 20mm (B)
Rubber-ceramic lagging is used for heavy-duty applications, where a coefficient of friction is higher than that of rubber lagging makes it possible to solve congestion-related problems in any condition. Installation of the ceramic lagging is done depending on the type by gluing or welding.
Typical types of rubber-ceramic lagging: • Lagging strips, gluing installation • Lagging strips on metal plate, welding installation • Ceramic Lagging plates on metal plate, welding installation
The installation of the lagging is carried out in our workshop by experienced workers with long-term experience, which ensures maximum quality of execution. We install the lagging on all types and sizes of drums. |
