Lever Limit Switches for Belt Conveyors

The lever safety switches are used in linear or swivelling movements to report the reached position or to shut off the circuit in the end positions. Typically, they are positioned at the ends of the conveyor.

TYPE LHP

The switches are used to monitor the movement of the machine or its parts to avoid damage to the machine or injury to the operator by moving beyond the specified path, or to indicate the machine's immediate position relative to the rigid frame. The switch is fitted with a lever with a roller. When the lever is rotated, the microswitch contacts are switched off (switched on). By switching on the microswitch contacts to the control circuits, you can, for example, trigger a warning or stop the machine. In the case of the emergency stop switch, the circuits are connected in such a way that the machine is always stopped.
