Material flow monitors are safety devices for automatic operation of belt conveyor systems. They check the height of the material on the conveyor belt or also any material flow interruption.

MW flow monitors are equipped with a trailer mounted on a 50 cm long pole above the conveyor belt. The trailer sensor slides its own weight on the conveyor belt or on the conveyed bulk materials. When transporting material on the conveyor belt, the trailer is diverted to different heights. If the sensor reaches the specified height, switching will occur. The reversal switching occurs when the deflection height drops to the set height.

With respect to reliable, maintenance-free operation, all bearings are rolling. The metal housing of the switch has a type of protection IP 67. The trailer sensor is fixed to the switch by one mother and therefore easily replaceable. It can be used for both traffic directions, right and left.
